Three young Athenians...

EPA

Three young Athenians are dwarfed by British artist Damien Hirst's colossal statue of a girl clutching a teddy bear and a collection box, part of what is being billed as a major international contemporary art exhibition that opened on Saturday at three separate venues on Pireos St. Some 250 works - paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs and video installations - are on display at the 'Outlook' show that was inaugurated on Friday. Many of the pieces were specially made for the Athens show. Eighty-five artists, including 11 Greeks, are featured in the 2.3-million-euro exhibition, which is part of the state-sponsored Cultural Olympiad series of cultural events.
