Three suffer gunshot wounds after dispute

Police are hunting for a 48-year-old man from the Dendropotamo district of Thessaloniki after he shot and injured his neighbor and two more people following an argument on Christmas Day.

The suspect's neighbor as well as an elderly man and his 10-year-old granddaughter were hospitalized but were not in any danger, according to doctors. Neither the victims nor the suspect were named.

The suspect allegedly fired shotgun pellets at his neighbor's legs after the two men had an argument over what police believe were financial issues.

The grandfather and his granddaughter were hit by stray pellets as they were passing by.

The suspect ran off after the incident. Officers said that a woman helped him get away but did not give any more details.
