Three helmets...


EPA

Three helmets, part of the Axel Guttman Collection of Ancient Arms and Armor, will go on sale at Christies in London today. A Roman helmet (l) made of iron, copper and brass, dating from the late second to early third century AD, is expected to fetch at least 525,000 euros. A Corinthian-type bronze helmet (c) is expected to fetch at least 30,000. A Phrygian-Chalcidian-type winged bronze helmet is expected to fetch 105,000.
