Greece has won all six...

TOSHIFUMI KITAMURA/AFP

Greek basketball player Lazaros Papadopoulos (center) leads the national team in celebration yesterday after its 95-64 victory over China at the World Championships in Saitama, Japan. The 2.10-meter center is joined in applauding the crowd by Dimos Dikoudis (left), captain Michalis Kakiouzis (right) and Sophocles Schortsianitis (rear). After a lackluster 10-minute period at the start of the game, when China took the lead, Greece gained control of the match and were comfortable winners despite the efforts of Chinese NBA star Yao Ming. Greece has won all six of its games at the championships and will now face France in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. A win in that game could set up a semifinal against the USA.
