Public Order Minister Vyron Polydoras...

MARIA MAROGIANNI/ANA

Public Order Minister Vyron Polydoras (r), with Chief of Police Anastassios Dimoschakis yesterday, was questioned in Parliament about the alleged police beating of a 24-year-old student in Thessaloniki. A prosecutor’s investigation into whether the police involved should face criminal charges over the incident was continuing. Doctors said the student, Avgoustinos Dimitriou, could be discharged from the hospital today.
