A man was arrested in Ambelokipi, central Athens, on suspicion of running a workshop that produced forged passports and visas for migrants, police said. Officers are also looking for another two men in connection to the illegal workshop, which was based in an apartment where police found official stamps and watermarking equipment used to make passports. Traffic restrictions will return to Athens on Monday, police said yesterday. Cars with license plates ending in odd numbers will only be able to enter the city center on the odd days each month between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday. Cars with license plates ending in even numbers will be able to drive into the center of Athens on even-numbered days of the month. The restrictions will be in place until July 18 of next year.
