Textile workers pitch tents outside ministry

Pedestrians walk past discarded spools of yarn and tents that were set up yesterday by employees of four textile factories in central and northern Greece that belong to businessman Thomas Lanaras who have returned to Athens to protest unpaid wages and staff layoffs. In the latest of their protests, the workers pitched their tents in front of the Economy and Finance Ministry in the city center.
