ANA

Rescue workers struggle to free trapped passengers after a trailer carrying steel construction rods slammed into four passenger cars at the 178th kilometer of the Athens-Lamia highway yesterday. The southbound truck had swerved to avoid two cars involved in a minor accident and veered into northbound traffic. There were no serious injuries.
