Aris launches double attack on Bajevic and Marcio Amoroso, claiming damages

Aris soccer club is begining a double court fight against its former coach Dusan Bajevic and its Brazilian striker Marcio Amoroso. The Thessaloniki side is launching a compensation claim against the Serb manager who suddenly resigned on July 1. Aris has accused him of unprofessional behavior and is asking for 1 million euros in lost revenues. Bajevic quit the club with another year left on his contract. Amoroso has failed to return from his summer vacation, so Aris has reported him to the Hellenic Football Federation and is asking for a default on his contract and compensation of 2 million euros. The player has answered by resorting to international soccer body FIFA, asking for an end to his contract, while also requesting as compensation all monies due for the second year of his contract.

Aris is effective in attack on the field, too, but still leaves a lot to be desired in defense. On Monday it shared a 2-2 draw at a friendly match with local second-division club Greuther Fuerth in Germany.
