PAOK basketball club’s target for the new year is qualification to the Euroleague, new coach Argyris Pedoulakis told a press conference yesterday.

The ambitious plan of the club headed by investor Dimitris Drosos envisages a strong team, unlike the one that suffered financial problems and only avoided the drop on the final day of last season. “All this is now over. We start with the Euroleague as our target, but I cannot say when we will attain it,” said the experienced coach.

PAOK also presented its new signing, Giorgos Tsiaras, formerly of Olympia Larissa. PAOK fans are further demanding the return of Bosnian player Damir Mulaomerovic.
