Albanian artist Saimir Strati poses next to the mosaic he has created of late pop legend Michael Jackson in the Albanian capital, Tirana, yesterday. Strati needed 300,000 paintbrushes and 28 days to complete the 10-meter-long, 2.6-meter-high mosaic that has been placed on the side of a truck traveling the streets of Albania. It is Strati’s fourth attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. He has entered the book three times: for making the largest three-dimensional cork mosaic, the largest nail mosaic, with some 500,000 industrial nails, and the largest three-dimensional toothpick mosaic.
