Tsipras to discuss recent trips with SYRIZA party committee
SYRIZA is to hold a meeting of its central committee on Saturday, when members will evaluate, among other things, the impact of the recent trips made by party leader Alexis Tsipras to Germany and the USA.
The left wing of the party had expressed doubts about Tsipras’s initiative but it is thought that he will not face strong criticism at the committee meeting.
Among the issues to be discussed today is the party’s relationship with the media.
Party members and MPs are being asked to clear their participation in TV shows with SYRIZA’s press office first and to limit their appearances to a maximum of two per week.
