Ambelokipi metro death billed as suicide

A 50-year-old man who died on Monday after falling on the tracks at Ambelokipi metro station apparently took his own life.

Authorities were investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the mans death.

The incident, which occurred in the early afternoon, led to the temporary closure of Line 3 of the metro as the fire service was called to the scene.
