PM to present policy platform on Friday

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is to present the new government's policy platform on Friday after the scheduled swearing-in at 6.30 p.m. of MPs who had been absent from last week's ceremony, the premier's office said on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the office of President Karolos Papoulias said that the new Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras is to be sworn in at 10 am on Thursday.

The premier and Stournaras will then receive the top-ranking officials of Greece's international creditors at 1 p.m. on Thursday, the premier's office said.
