Senior politician undergoes successful hip surgery

The honorary president of New Democracy, former Prime Minister Constantinos Mitsotakis, 94, underwent successful hip surgery on Saturday.

The veteran politician was admitted to a hospital on Crete before being transferred to Athens after suffering a fall over the holidays in Hania, his hometown.
