Four Golden Dawn MPs given more time to prepare for magistrates

Four Golden Dawn MPs who had their parliamentary immunity lifted so they could face charges of being part of a criminal gang were given more time on Monday to prepare themselves before facing magistrates.

Dimitris Koukoutsis will face magistrates Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou on June 6, Nikos Kouzilos on June 10, Eleni Zaroulia (wife of Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos) on June 12 and Michalis Arvanitis on June 13.

Another three Golden Dawn MPs had their immunity lifted on April 30 but are yet to be called by the magistrates. Ex-GD lawmaker Chrysovalantis Alexopoulis is also waiting for Parliament to decide his fate.
