Sightseeing bus crashes into central Athens bost stop; no one injured

An open-topped double-decker sightseeing bus smashed into a bus stop in Syntagma Square on Friday, destroying the structure but causing no injuries despite the midday bustle in the central Athens square.

According to police reports, the sightseeing bus was parked when it started rolling forward into the bus stop because the hand brake was off.

No one was on the bus at the time of the incident.
