Missing climber found safe and well in Pierian Mountains
A 54-year-old climber who had gone missing on Sunday in the Pierian Mountains in central Macedonia, northern Greece, was found safe and well on Monday.
The unnamed climber had become separated from his colleagues from a Kozani club on Sunday and called a friend to inform him that he was lost. His mobile phone battery then ran out.
He was found by members of the Greek Rescue Team on Monday morning and taken to the hospital after spending the night in freezing conditions.
