Prosecutor to question Baltakos over Golden Dawn video

Former cabinet secretary Panayiotis Baltakos is due to face a prosecutor on Monday as part of the probe into the secretly filmed footage of his conversation with Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris.

Prosecutor Calliope Dagianta was due to question Baltakos on Tuesday but this was moved forward a day. Dagianta is conducting an urgent investigation into whether Kasidiaris broke privacy laws by filming the video and then making it public.

It is expected that Parliament will debate the matter this week, following a request from SYRIZA for a discussion about Baltakos and his role in the government.
