Two people smugglers, 13 would-be migrants intercepted in Evros
Two Iranian nationals believed to be people smugglers have been arrested in the region of Evros along with 13 would-be migrants, police said on Wednesday.
The Iranians, aged 29 and 35, were intercepted as they were disembarking from plastic rowboats on the banks of the Evros River along with six compatriots, five Syrians and two Eritrean nationals.
