Psomiadis appeals removal from post of Central Macedonia governor
Former Central Macedonia Governor Panayiotis Psomiadis appealed to the Council of State on Wednesday over a decision to remove him from his post after he was given a 12-month suspended jail sentence last year for reducing a fine issued to a gas station owner in Thessaloniki.
Psomiadis claims the decision to bar him from his post is unconstitutional.
