PASOK to announce new political council next week

PASOK is due to announce the members of its new political council and the new secretary for its central political committee next week. It is expected that the process will be completed by next Wednesday.

PASOK youth wing candidate Nikos Androulakis (photo) is the most likely candidate for the secretary’s position as he won the most votes at PASOK’s congress on Sunday, when the 130 central committee members were elected.

The political council, which will hold weekly meetings, is expected to contain a mixture of new faces and established PASOK politicians.
