An earthquake measuring 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale hit a sea area off the island of Limnos in the north-eastern Aegean Sea early on Friday.
According to the Institute of Geodynamics of the National Observatory of Athens, the quake’s epicenter was located south of the island and was part of the aftershock activity following a strong earthquake -- 5.8 degress on the Richter scale -- which struck the same area on Tueday.
