Halkida drug raid nets narcotics, two suspects

Two people were arrested on Tuesday after police uncovered a sophisticated hydroponic setup in Halkida, northeast of Athens.

During a search of the premises, police seized a total 1,948 cannabis plants, 2,110 ecstasy pills, 76 grams of cocaine and 138 grams of MDMA.

The two suspects, a 31-year-old Belgian and a 36-year-old Greek, have been arrested for drug offenses in the past.
