Thessaloniki officer charged in drug-dealing racket case
A prosecutor on Friday brought charges against a Thessaloniki narcotics officer over his alleged involvement in a massive drug-dealing racket operating in the northern port city, as well as in Volos and Agrinio.
The officer was charged after taped conversations revealed he allegedly took bribes from a member of the criminal ring.
Three officers have already been arrested in the same case, while another four policemen have been charged for acting as accomplices.
