Meeting between PM Samaras and troika in Athens put off for a day
The meeting between Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the heads of the troika team in Athens that was due to take place on Tuesday afternoon has been postponed for a day.
Sources in the prime minister's office said that the delay was due to «technical reasons» rather than any obstacle in the negotiations.
The meeting between Samaras and representatives of the International Monetary Fund, European Central Bank and European Commission to discuss Greece's progress with structural reforms and the implementation of the fiscal adjustment program is due to be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Development Ministry announced on Friday that a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises have expressed interest in the European Union-funded program for their support.
