SYRIZA MP provides ‘proof’ he didn't conceal earnings
SYRIZA MP Alexis Mitropoulos (photo) on Tuesday submitted paperwork which he says proves that accusations he failed to declare earnings of 850,000 dollars are false.
Financial prosecutors on Monday ordered that Mitropoulos’s finances be probed after reports he failed to declare the money.
However, the SYRIZA MP submitted documents on Tuesday which he says prove that he returned the uncashed checks for the amount in question, which was a payment his law firm received in 1999.
