A woman opened fire inside the capital's main Evelpidon court complex on Monday morning following an inter-family dispute, with witnesses reporting that one person was fatally injured and a second wounded.
According to sources, a Roma woman started shooting inside one of the several buildings in the complex shortly before 10 a.m. It is believed that she had been part of a group of Roma that had been involved in a vendetta with another Roma family.
The alleged shooter was arrested by police who cordoned off the area.
It remained unclear how the perpetrator managed to get a gun through the metal detector at the entrance to the court complex.
