Policeman, accomplice arrested over forged documents for migrants

A 49-year-old police sergeant has been arrested in Athens on suspicion of providing migrants with forged documents.

A 39-year-old Pakistani man, alleged to have been the officer’s accomplice, was also arrested, police said.

Dozens of forged papers, including asylum applications, were found in the policeman’s car when he was stopped on Friday.
