There will be no trolley buses in Athens between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday as staff will be taking part in their union’s general assembly.
Commuters should expect to see trolley buses begin to withdraw from service at about 10 a.m. Full service is unlikely to be restored before 6 p.m.
It should be noted that there was also a bus stoppage last week so the union could hold its meeting but the general assembly did not go ahead as only about a third of members took part.
