Pre-Christmas donation drive collects 4 tons of food for hard-up Athenians
The Greek branch of Doctors of the World and the citizens’ group Atenistas have revealed that the collected more than 4 tons of food at a donation drive in Athens on Friday.
Atenistas said that some 25,000 cans of condensed milk and numerous other food items were collected at the entrance to Athens University last week.
The food will be distributed to Athenians in need over the coming days.
