Two missing men found shot dead near Kalamata

Two men who had been missing near Kalamata in the Peloponnese since Monday night have been found dead in a ravine 24 kilometers south of the city. Police sources said they had been shot and their bodies dumped there.

The two victims, aged 25 and 26, left a bar in Kardamyli on Monday night and had not been seen since. They told friends they were going to meet someone but did not give any more details.

Police managed to find their bodies by tracking their mobile phones. Sources said both men had gunshot wounds. Officers believe they were not killed at the spot where their bodies were found. The motorcycle the two men were riding has not been located.
