German shoots physiotherapist before killing himself
A 72-year-old German national on Thursday shot a physiotherapist at a hospital in Gythio, in the southern Peloponnese, before killing himself, according to local reports.
The man, a long-term resident of the town, shot the physiotherapist after his wife died of a stroke following 17 days of treatment at the hospital before turning the weapon on himself, sources said.
Despite being shot at point-blank range, the physiotherapist was said to be in a stable condition.
