SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras is to begin a three-day European trip on Thursday.
The leftist politician is due to visit Brussels, Berlin and Hamburg, with the highlight of the tour being his meeting with European Parliament President Martin Schulz on Thursday.
Tsipras is due in Berlin tomorrow, when he will meet with the leadership of Germany’s leftist Die Linke party. He will then speak in Hamburg as part of an event organized by Die Linke.
The SYRIZA leader’s trip is seen as part of an effort by the party to develop stronger links within Europe.
