Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) officers on Friday arrested six intercity bus drivers who had failed to issue receipts in the form of tickets to paying passengers, pocketing the cash.
The drivers all work on routes to Albania’s Kakavia border crossing, and are suspected of having pocketed the cash for a total of 242 tickets sold on the day that SDOE conducted its raid, and dodged paying the tax on the fare.
