Five top Energa and Hellas Power executives to face magistrate
Five high-ranking executives of private energy providers Energa and Hellas Power were arrested on Tuesday on charges of smuggling and money laundering.
The defendants were to face an examining magistrate.
Hellas Power and Energa had their licenses suspended in January by DESMIE, Greece’s electricity grid operator, over some 200 million euros in unpaid debts.
