Banks to issue 2012 results a month earlier

By Yiannis Papadoyiannis

Greeces four main (National, Alpha, Eurobank and Piraeus) will publish their 2012 financial reports by the end of February and not end-March, as provided by law.

The change comes due to the fact that the lenders need to present last years results to the markets to draw funds as part of the recapitalization process.
