Sell-off process for six state properties gets under way
The state privatization fund (TAIPED) has begun the process for the utilization of six public real estate assets.
They comprise five locations next to the Attiki Odos (pictured) in northern Athens that served as auxiliary spaces during the construction of the highway, and a state property at Paliouri in Halkidiki, central Macedonia.
The properties next to the Attiki Odos are said to range between 5,000 and 7,000 square meters and have significant commercial interest due to their location beside the capital’s ring road.
Expressions of interest are expected by April 15, with binding offers to follow through June 17.
The Paliouri property is a 211,000 square-meter plot that is ideal for tourism development as it is located on the popular Cassandra peninsula.
The deadline for expressions of interest is March 26.
