MONDAY

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will meet with representatives of the country’s creditors at 11.45 a.m. at his office. He will earlier host the speaker of the Canadian Senate, Noel Kinsella.

The Hellenic Statistical Authority will issue the July data for industrial output, the consumer price index and trade transactions.

Hellenic Postbank employees are holding a 24-hour strike and plan to stage a picket line outside the prime minister’s office during his meeting with the representatives of the country’s creditors.

The Panhellenic Federation of Tertiary Education Professors begins a 48-hour strike.

Hospital doctors stage a 24-hour strike.

School teachers are holding a 24-hour strike and a rally at noon. Secondary education professors will hold two three-hour work stoppages to participate in the teachers’ rally.

Local authorities across the country begin a 48-strike called by the Central Association of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE).

Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will host a meeting with the head of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras at the ministry.

The Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce is organizing a visit of senior officials from 18 Egyptian enterprises to the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The visit will take place at 1 p.m.
