Greece to sell over 3 mln EU carbon permits this year
Greece will sell more than 3 million European Union carbon permits by the end of the year. The allowances are to be sold by the Athens Exchange, the bourse said on Tuesday in an e-mailed statement. The sales will all take place before the end of 2012, Alexandra Grispou, a spokeswoman for the exchange, said by telephone. She wasn’t able to comment on dates or volumes of individual sales.
