Cyprus’s top rate of corporate tax must be considered by the troika in assessing the island’s bid for rescue aid, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said at a regular press conference on Wednesday in Berlin.
“Of course it’s to be expected that in looking at Cyprus’s budget deficit that its corporate tax rate will also be an aspect,” Seibert told reporters.
