Agricultural Bank of Greece SA, known as ATEBank, said on Friday that an international tender for the sale of its 82 percent stake in Hellenic Sugar Co SA was unsuccessful.
The lender, which was taken over by Piraeus Bank SA in July, said in an Athens bourse filing that the sale of the stake remains a priority.
A new sales procedure will be announced in the future, according to the filing.
