Gov't signs contract with consortium for Cretan highway section
The Development and Infrastructure Ministry on Monday signed a contract with the Domiki Kritis-EKTER-ERETVO-Themeli consortium for the construction of a 9.1-kilometer section of the highway that runs along northern Crete between Gournes and Hersonissos on the eastern side of the island.
The project has a three-year deadline and with a 13 percent discount its budget has dropped to 56.9 million euros.
