Greek bank lending drops 4.5 pct y-o-y in May

Greek bank lending to households and businesses declined 4.5 percent in May compared with a year earlier, according to the Athens-based Bank of Greece.

The decline in the previous month was 4.7 percent, according to an e-mailed statement from the central bank yesterday.
