MONDAY

The government is scheduled to table the 2012 draft budget in Parliament.

The inspection team of the European Commission, the European Central bank and the International Monetary Fund, known as the troika, starts its final round of monitoring in Athens before drafting its report on Greece’s fiscal progress.

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule will be the keynote speaker at a lecture on “European Union Enlargement: The European Agenda as Leverage for Reforms,” organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Athens and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). The lecture will take place at the Commission’s offices in Athens (2 Vas. Sofias), starting at 12.15 p.m.

TUESDAY

On the occasion of the 1st Greek Investment Forum in New York, the president of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Yiannos Grammatidis, and the president of the Athens stock market, Sokratis Lazaridis, will hold a briefing at noon in the Hermes room of the Athens Stock Exchange building (110 Athinon).
