Cyprus Popular Bank Pcl, the island’s second-biggest lender, posted a first-half net loss of 1.3 billion euros, compared with a year-earlier loss of 202.4 million euros as provisions more than tripled to 885 million euros, according to an e-mailed statement from the Nicosia-based lender on Friday.
