State-of-the-art justice system

The Greek justice system appears to be in bad shape, a conclusion reached by every single study carried out in the sector.

Efforts to modernize the country’s judicial structure are perpetually scuppered by vested interests that do not wish to see any kind of change whatsoever take place in this vital sector.

Nevertheless, it’s high time someone undertook certain initiatives, changes that would radically change the system and allow a large number of serious, highly knowledgeable Greek judges to do their job professionally and using all the necessary tools available to them.

Getting rid of basic reforms such as the imposition of sanctions on judges who display major delays in reaching decisions is a huge mistake and does not improve matters in any way.

Greek citizens are demanding an efficient, state-of-the-art justice system.
