A solution to Greece’s debt
The issue of the Greek public debt must be dealt with sooner rather than later.
All international analysts agree that it will be particularly difficult for Greece’s economy to get back on its feet as long as it is overshadowed by the country’s hefty debt.
Coming up with a solution to the Greek debt problem will not be an easy political decision for the country’s partners and creditors, especially during this time of euroskepticism and flourishing political extremes.
On the other hand, delaying finding a solution to the matter gives rise to major political and economic side-effects which could easily turn into an avalanche for Greek political affairs.
Whether a solution is found or not, Greece will have no choice but to maintain fiscal discipline in order to avoid finding itself in the same spot as 2009.
