Greece needs investment

Greeks, especially the young, are desperately seeking work and this is why it is imperative to create new jobs. Meanwhile, the state is in a constant, undeclared war against entrepreneurship. Even today, at a time when the country is battling the ongoing financial crisis, those wishing to invest in Greece face huge obstacles. Besides all the bureaucracy and overregulation, there are those who believe they have the right to block new investment, even when it’s completely legal. They even justify the use of violence when rallying against it.

Meanwhile, the prime minister and the government are fighting to attract investors that are essential for the country’s survival. The opposition has to change direction and isolate extremists who consider any kind of investment or privatization suspect or illegal. To save the country there must be a common understanding based on common sense.
