Greece beats Norway 3-2 ahead of World Cup qualifiers
In its final warm-up match before the qualifying matches for the 2014 World Cup begin, Greece beat Norway 3-2 in Oslo.
Vassilis Torosidis, Avraam Papadopoulos and Costas Mitroglou scored the goals for Fernando Santos’s team
Brete Hangeland and John Arne Riijse replied for the Norwegians.
Greece was 2-0 up within 11 minutes but Norway came back into the game but Mitroglou’s second-half goal was enough to put the win beyond doubt. It was the Olympiakos striker’s first goal for the national team.
